Yvette Viard was born in France and studied at the prestigious Chambre de Syndicat des Fleuristes d’lle de France concentrating on bridal bouquets and wedding arrangements, and Conseil Flore Association in Normandy focusing on Ikebana, the art of Japanese floral design. For the last 40 years, Yvette has travelled the world and has synthesized all these influences into a distinctive elegant aesthetic whole. Her designs are unique with a devoted attention to detail.

Yvette’s European creations are seen in the finest hotels including The Ritz-Carlton, the Four Seasons, and the Boston Harbor Hotel; admired in world-class museums including the Fine Arts Museum and the Museum of Science Boston; seen in venues throughout the region including Macy’s Bouquet of the Day Event and Fenway Park, and featured in Victoria Magazine and The Knot.

For her clients and her clients’ guests, Yvette’s elegant floral arrangements are the ones that are known to heighten the emotional intensity and the visual impact of their event. Yvette was instrumental in bringing the exquisite French techniques of floral design to the Boston area. Before Charlotte Design, Yvette was the Head Designer Winston Flower's Chestnut Hill store. Since 1994, Yvette heads Charlotte Design, where she can give more individual attention to her client’s needs.
